Ok im flying in to Krakow Saturday morning. And my other half is meeting with her sister and she is off for her dress fitting(we are getting married in August) and shoe hunting.I have been going to Poland 3 /4 times a year for the last 4 years and have seen a lot of the tourists parts of the city and have now decided that whilst they are shopping (Galeria im sure) I have decided to venture off on my own for a few hours. Can any one recomend a few places off the beaten track which would include a nice bar with possible football on (not full of stag weekenders).Cheers in advance

Merged: Booking A Short Trip To Krakow

I am returning for good at the end of the season here. However I fancy popping over for a few days just to visit some friends and get a few Żywiec down me (as well as a kebab down my shirt no doubt). Anyone able to reccommend companies that do good deals on flight and hotels together so I don't the hassle of organising flights and all that cockanany.

Are you coming here on a budget mate?
If not Pod Wawelem hotel next to the Sheraton is a great place, my family stay there everytime they come here. When are you coming as there might be a possibility that i could have a room free.

There's a deal to be done there Mr T, marmite, English bacon and iron brew in return for a comfy sofa ;0)

Not 100% sure mate, just checking flights now. Once I have a date I will let you know. Only coming for a few days so I can load up my 15kg with cheddar (Isle Of Mull stuff is lovely) and Irn Bru...

Not totally a budget, but I'd rather keep most of my cash for the move in Sept/Oct time.
