Call the nightclub, explain you are a foreigner working for a multinational in Warzaw (name confidential) who is entertaining clients and would like to book a table.
Explain your clients are important people who's details you are bound to keep private. Explain that you have been given the details of the club by other client of yours that work for Gucci or Prada (whatever a brand name that they will recognise, something fashionable). Explain your friends were there a last year and thoroughly recommend the club. Be brusque short and too the point, don't be friendly speak to them as if its in their interests. Finally don't let them give you an answer straight away, leave a contact number and ask them to confirm later that day. Explain you are flying out to New York and will be back in two days, and therefore you need an answer before you go. Leave them little chance to respond but make sure they understand.
Be warned booking a table will cost you, make sure you know how much, though I'm sure it will not be above £150 £200 sterling.
Last week in Paris I went out with my missus my cousin and his buddy, both shaved head big black jacketted techno freaks. The club we were going to in Pigalle was being choosy at the door, so I step up to the doorman and spoke rapidly in French, that I was only in Paris for the weekend for a romantic break and the two guys with me were my body guards. He asked me who I was, I told him it on a need to know basis and shook his hand. We were promptly waved through. :)
Blagging doors is an art I know well, though not one I even need to practise in London, there I'm in regardless with drinks on the house:)
Giles, I'm intreagued as to how you get in to London clubs with drinks on the house, unless you're talking a private members club where you're a regular :)
Ack, it sounds like such a chore Giles mate. Don't envy you in the slightest. :) As for your earlier tips, you're right confidence can work wonders! Kudos. :)
Its a life of champagne, powder and models...........
Giles... Poland is much worse off in having the likes of you in Poland, stay away please. Stay in England and play your silly games . You are a disgrace.
