We are going to Gdansk / Sopot in the summer and have been looking at hotels. I have been using gdansk-life.com and Trip Advisor. The Novotel Marina looks good for price and location but is not great for comfot and food. The other one someone has mentioned is the Hotel Poseidon.
The Pensjonat Zosienka looks nice as well. There are a few hotels hotelspoland.com that aren't on Trip Advisor.

What is your approximate budget per night ?
Also, do you want to stay in Gdansk or would you consider Sopot & Gdynia ?

Poseidon is good, although it's about 20 minutes by train from there to Old Town. Check out Wolne Miasto. Nice place, great location. I know a Dutch engineer who travels the world and has stayed in most of the better hotels in Gdansk. He prefers Wolne Miasto for its anbiance and location.

Merged: I'm in Gdansk - hotels or cottages on the Polish sea with fireplaces?
Does anyone know of any? I'm in Gdansk and have been thinking of a winter getaway to a place with wood burning fireplaces in the rooms. Do they exist? If so, where?

I stayed in the Holiday Inn last time i was there and was absolutely robbed, room was stifling hot and about 350 PLN per night. Dont fcuking stay there thats all i can say. head out to Sopot and grab a room there. Much better, great selection of Hotels and casinos.

The Holiday Inn is now Scandic. My friends who have stayed here tell me that Wolne Miasto is the best for price and ambiance. Check their website.
