Which university in Poland?? (University of Lodz & Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu)

I will be applying to 2 Polish universities for June 2010 for second year of bachelor studies (First year will be done in India). I have short listed to 2 universities (University of Lodz & Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu).

My questions are:

1. Which university is more recognized in the European Union?

2. Which of the university would have a cheaper cost of living? My friend said that the cost of living in Nowy Sacz in around 1000 PLN per month(accommodation, food, utilities)

3. Which university has a good business program?

4. What are the job prospects for both universities outside Poland?

The choice is simple- Uni of Lodz. Wyzsza szkola biznesu is not the University, but in exact translation "higher school", what means, it is less prestigious than uni.

Any university, I guess. So £ódź.


I guess £ódź would be more expensive because it's a big city.


Szkoła Główna Handlowa in Warsaw ;-)


No idea, but surely Uni of £ódż has bigger ones.

How is the university of Lodz thoght of in poland? And how is the city of lodz when compared to a place like wroclaw in terms of fun and expenses?

please help me to get admission into one of the schools.

Learned English at Lodz Uni for a few months. Rep is good I believe but not as good as Krakow Uni. Not been to Wroclaw yet but Lodz has a big student population and city is more than twice the size. It has a pretty good social scene. It is much cheaper than Warsaw or Krakow for accommodation. Socialising also cheaper and food is slightly cheaper too. A lot of investment going on here to try and catch up the other big 2 cities.
