could people share who they are getting their property insurance through

ZUS mainly as they have the monolpoly, am looking at alternatives though and will advise ASAP

My guess is that still only a small percentage of Poles buy property insurance (at least for their private homes).

I insure through Hestia and use a local broker.

I use "Warta", cheaper quote than "PUZ"

I would not trust Warta as far as I could throw them, my wife's uncle used to work for them and one of his duty's was to teach their agents how "NOT" to fill in the forms correctly so if there was a claim, Warta didn't pay out.

Luckily, this has changed to some degree, but he still tells us that they are shady to say the least.

So the lesson is, to read all the details of the contract, and if your are not sure then take it to a legal representative and have it checked.

1st
bigger insurance companies generally pays easier (PZU, Warta (yes!), Hestia). Of course, in case of bigger damage they all are trying not to pay at all

2nd
talk to multi-agent -one who sells insurances of few companies. They have some comparition and sometimes know reliability of companies
