Uk Car Insurance in Poland

Hi All,

Is anyone else doing this? I have just brought my UK car to Poland. I can get insurance, but I have been quoted 5500zl per year. This is double what I was paying in Uk.

Does anyone know why, is my car suddenly worth twice here? Or am I classed as a dangerous driver because i'm from the Uk?

Can anyone recommend a company to me? I am based in 3 City. I can use my Uk insurance here for 90 days but after that I may have to bite the bullet!

I would check with your insurance company that you are fully comp for those 90 days. Better safe than sorry.

I have European insurance for my UK registered LHD car in Poland because I couldn't find anyone willing to insure it at a reasonable price - Axa do both 3rd party & fully comp. I have to go back every year to get an MOT though, and pay road tax.

can enybody tell me how to deal with this problem? I have a UK car and I have to get a new car insurance in Bulgaria or Greece. Do you know any cheep insurance company there for uk cars?

Stuart Collins insurance, they can offer comprehensive yearly policies for europe, I'm insured with them and pay 570 GBP for a JDM mitsubishi mirage, heres the number they are very helpful, Tel: +44 (0)1792 655562

Hiya, did you find a solution, we are also thinking to bring our irish reg car to poland and need to buuy insurance in poland as no insurer in ireland are willing to provide insurance for the 1 yr we will be there
