Have you bought a house in rural Poland?

I am planning to move to Poland in a few months and am presently looking at buying properties in the zachodniopomorskie, dolnoslaskie and malopolskie regions. The properties I am interested in are medium sized rural properties with land. I would very much like to hear from anyone who has bought this kind of property in Poland with a view to sharing/exchanging experiences of the purchase process, and post-purchase restoration and development of the property.

Being Polish, I haven't bought one, but I used to live in a rural area of Poland. Are you sure you can buy land in Poland? Unless it includes housing and has enough land to qualify as "farming land." Are you going to just live there or do some farming stuff?

So you are in a very good position to buy a Polish land - you don't have to wait several years or rent-to-own it. Make sure what you want to do on the land and if you have money buy your dream land.
