Hi! I don't know if there are many brazilians using this polish forum as I've noticed the majority of people here is from UK, USA and Ireland. However I'd like to ask the brazilians out there who lived or live in Poland, which are the differences and similarities from Poland to Brazil? I've been to Poland several times, but as a tourist and I think you have to live there to get the feeling from the place and see what really bothers you or pleases you.
I've been to Poland myself as well, also as a tourist (really, day tourist LOL) and, although never having set foot in Brazil, can only imagine that the sheer size and climate are severe differences enough! From the point of view of cultural differences, I'd imagine one'd find many more Brasilieiros on the streets of Sao Paolo who speak fluent English than Poles on the streets of Warsaw.
You're living in London, so you should know how life looks in Europe. In Poland it's generally the same. Really :)
You have winters here, more or less cold. About Brasil - living near the equator means that the rhytm of your life isn't so affected by the seasons of the year. Out here it's a bigger deal.
The crime rate is much lower. You'd also have to get familiar with all this sarcasm and irony that Poles throw around.
And about the people - it depends, as everywhere. I can't say anything about them, because every society, including Polish is diversed. People are different from each other.
