New TV Service for Polish Expats

Has anyone seen the IGOCOLO website? You can actually rent a satellite receiver in Europe and watch on your PC. I used the free trial, and had over 600 channels from Hotbird and an arabic satellite. I am Polish, travelling abroad, so really just used the 15 Polish channels. But there are Arabic, italian, french, etc.

I haven't actually bought the service yet, but if there are any expats out there, it is worth checking out. Post results here.

Great for Polish TV but alas no UK TV on there and to be honest if you do a search around on the internet you can find these channels online for free:

multilingualbooks.com/online-tv-polish.html
radiostacje.com/indextel.htm
delicast.com/tv/Poland/TV_Polonia
craftytv.com/

As you see there are many free ones :O)

I disagree. I have signed up for the service, and you actually control your own satellite reciever. That means no downtime, digital picture, and customer service. Those sites you posted above have only 1 or 2 of the channels, and they are such bad bitrate and completely unreliable.

You can always find a free online version somewhere. Even HBO is online somewhere, but it is unwatchable. I am glad that I can see TVP, Kultura, Polsat and Polsat news.

Nothing like a bit of viral marketing to create a buzz ;)
