i think stalin managed to kill 3 times the amount of his "own (ie russian)" people than the usa killed with dropping the bomb

you're splitting hairs sob. ;)

Does that mean you are ready to give us all your oil so we don't have to look for it somewhere else?

I said generouse knight, not stupid!

Everyone knows that Gazprom uses their oil as a way to blackmail other countries....."be nice to us, or no oil for you!" hehe

I think that it is rather honest...should we sell them our goods if they execrate us?

Ever notice the spoilt kid at school with all the sweets didn't have many friends, that's a bit like Russia :) I also say that oil is the only reason you won the euro vision song contest :)

I want to remind you the words of our tsar Alexandr III - "Russia dose not have friends except her army and fleet". Why you think that in XXI cent we need any other friends? Poland had alot of friends in persons of England, France etc., but they haven't had any wish to help her in the moments of danger. History made it clear that Poland's best friends had been Russia, Germany and Austria....

I also say that oil is the only reason you won the euro vision song contest :)

You are wrong....I cannot say that our singer Bilan is a type of my Mr.Right, but sure enough, even I would be pleased to have some affairs with him. He is cute and it is fact!I think that male european population desired him vastly.

Shelley what would you prefer: to have few honest (not necessarily nice) partners or lots of hypocritical friends? I don't mean anybody, it's just a question. As for the way how you described Russia, I agree but have to note that nobody has friends if use political approach to the problem.

Interesting :

Good friends can be hypocritical, it's not always nice to hear certain things, but I would expect my friends to be honest.

Partners are like associates, here today gone tomorrow and not necessarily to be counted on in times of trouble.

I honestly didn't really have any issues with Russia until their recent stance on the Mugabe situation, maybe Russia will accept the 1,000s of Assylum seekers fleeing Zimbabwe in the coming months?

Ah! Zimbabwe, I think that it is former GB colony South Rhodesia? Certainly it's English buisiness, but in the same time it's a perfect pretex to settle scores with you for Kosovo and NATO extension. Why not?

Good friends can be hypocritical,

I'm convinced they can't, elsewise they "gone tomorrow", in other words will be partners or how Russians say "tovarisch". Not closer.

I'm sure if we pondered on that carefully, neither of us would be able to find a country he doesn't have any issues with except for those which he has never heard of.

True, but whilst the UE isn't perfect and we're not all bossom buddies, the majority of us agree on most things and this makes us strong.

Why not? maybe to save lives of people who are being murdered on a daily basis because of a corrup government...Yes you are right it is a FORMER, meaning no longer, but maybe some people still feel a responsibility to help.

He-he, tell me, who cares about lives of some africans? their former colonisators? Don't talk rot! I can say you what is their primary aim...to secure lands posessions of white minority in Zimbabwe, simply the posessions of the same English colonisators....But let's think about why they should have any land property in Africa? Go to England! So present situation has nothing in common with lives of black people in Niger...faugh, Zimbabwe....

It wasn't black humour, I prefer to say it was a bilious humour. Because I am inclined to believe that it will be much better to engage yourself in domestic affairs then provide some sort of humanitarian actions all over the world. The perfect example of such "care" we can observe daily in Iraq...you need more? If they are so careful, why not simply to trasfer their kindness on their own Afro-Americans?

St. Tereza!

My cover is blown. :)

Yes, I do have family that stayed in Africa, but Constantine, people come in many colors. I try to judge not, least I be judged when it comes to people I never met.

Clarification is required...BTW your new Russian friend on the forum seems a nice chap :)

Yes, I do have family that stayed in Africa

Aha!!!! You are descendant of those in cork helmets who opressed blacks during centuries, so now you just feel sorry for the deeds of your ancestors, am I right? I am right, I know!

people come in many colors

Sure, people have different colors as well as different occupations...Whites have predisposition for sciences, but black for sex and work....It is quite sad but true...In the remaining points we are the same....

Why lime? You know very well that I feel some adoration toward blacks (on physical level)...but the truth is they are lazy, just see on the native Africans somewhere in Congo, Nigeria or Somali....too a look and you will see that I am right...of course it is not about our black friends on this forum....

Oh Constantine,, you must get out and see the world more, do you travel? You say they are lazy but look at how they live and what challenges they have had. Here in the USA "lazy people" can be any color, just as high level professionals can be any color or sex. Society has held them back and now that they have rights, guess what, they are the same.

But what is a reason they live in such conditions and poverty? I could name you one. Once in Paris I had seen one scene. The young and cute black boy cleaned the window of our hotel, he cleaned it 5 hours! We were walking, sitting in the caffe, eating but he was still cleaning that f8cking window!

There was no need in it, I was ready to give him all I had to be in the center of his attention, but he was too concentrated on this window!

Now thats persistance, bet it was clean? That reminds me of a foster child I had, she would take a paper towel and clean my coffee table for hours. All the other children ran around her laughing and playing but she was was autistic and this was her world. FYI she was white. So you see we should not judge others.
