If i follow your words i must conclude that Scots were overrun and then rewarded for staying loyal and even for defense of non-European culture. By `modern` terminology Scots would be declared as multicultural

just remember. For true multiculturalism you need to be free first and to have choice. When somebody come and force you to be multicultural is something else.
