Never underestimate the power of the Taliban or their aims, whilst they might not take over the US they quite possibly might have the nuclear armour to destroy it IF they get a grip on Pakistan who are incidentally next-door to India who also have weapons....

Not to be facetious, but is that not what he meant. The US went in to rid them of Communism, but it didn't work...ie. The US failed.

I totally agree here, it is a worrying state of affairs...infact that whole big chunk of the world is like a powderkeg at the moment.

I did some research online, reading various websites after googling "how many muslims live in Europe?" One site said 15 million while another said 30 million. I also googled "how many muslims live in the US?" and I got the totals 2.8 million, while another site said over 5 million. One site said no one knows for sure how many are in the US because some of them convert to other religions once they move here.

My point is, I realized after googling, the US has nowhere near as many muslims as Europe.
I don't know if Europe can successfully deport that many people.

ShelleyS, I am not worried about Islam or the Taliban ruling the US because I know for a fact and am quite confident we would NEVER put up with it. They are too fundamental and crazy. You are never going to indoctrinate and convince the majority of Americans to follow what that weird Qu'ran says.

In the areas of mass Polish immigration they or rather their numbers have been a huge problem,dont kid yourself that just because they are white there isnt serious discontent at huge numbers of non english speaking kids suddenly crowding into already overstreched schools,or health clinics suddenly full of tomeks and danutas etc. An over streched infrastructure is over streched regardless of whether some one is called Ali or Sławek.

Well, after reading more about it and realizing how many muslims actually live in Europe, I can see the indigenous European's points. Most countries ruled by Islam are pretty bad. Haven't you noticed? Quality of life is not that great. Mohommed himself wasn't that great, either. It's just mindless brainwashing. I agree that the muslims who are there should have to assimilate and live up to European standards of behaviour.
