POLAND'S POPULATION IS SHRINKING...

Anyone know what the thing with Spain is? A few years ago both Poland and Spain were neck on neck with a population of over 38 million. The proejction suggests Poland being greatly taken over by Spain. Anyone know why?

I don't think it's anything to worry about because this number will stabilize. People are having fewer kids in industrialized countries because they have access to birth control and have choices about when to have children and how many. "Family Planning" is an option and people don't have as many kids because of this. It's no surprise the populations are declining because the average size of a family isn't as large as it once was. The third world is more populated but the quality of life is much worse.

As a lot of Poles emigrate. It is not rocket science.

Why Can't people just be heartless and uncaring as me and just make babies and let the state raise them ? Or Adopt! or jut have a baby and leave it inn a dumpster to raise itself. I mean out of 10 kids born that way at least 3 are bound to grow up to be Polish speaking rocket scientists.

Just throwing some ideas out there don't go all polish on me! especially the women.
I know how attached many of you like to get.

Also if poles would learn to be more entreprenourial and make more money, than they would be able to make more kids.

I got a friend living in Lubin, from India ... he married my school time class-mate (a Polish girl). They got 3 children, and not in any mood of giving up :D. I heard therez another family (his other friend), who stay in Krakow, and got 7 children :-o ... there is a silent revolution going on in Poland I tell you guyz... :D

Actually, 2008 was first from 11 years when population grew. Birth rate grew. It is no surprise, population boom from 80' decided to reproduce...

Polish population decreasing... Oh dear. This would mean Poland will eventually have to look to open it's gates for immigration. Don't believe all stats that you read. The rate of births of Poles in the UK was pretty high. There is no cause for alarm, unlike in Japan where many men are losing contact with their emotions and pursuing virtual options.
