Poland, the winning nation, has the highest shopping IQ, where shoppers rarely spend impulsively and are particularly open to alternative brands
4. The Shopping IQ ranking of the nine European countries in the study is as follows: 1)Poland 2) France 3) The Czech Republic 4) Germany 5) Sweden 6) Hungary 7) Spain 8) Italy 9) UK
Shopping IQ, this is not one of ur better topics to promote Poland £ukasz. Poles don't splash out as much because they have learned to be more selective in their purchases. They don't have as much disposable income. Life isn't exactly cheap here in comparison to salaries. I mean, when u take into consideration all the little costs that u incur along the way.
Yeah, I'm glad that Poland came top. It shows that people make responsible purchases and are aware that their spending power is somewhat more limited. I like the attitude amongst many that only the staples are necessary and that there is no need to flash the cash too often.
Does this mean Poles are discriminating shoppers when they buy Ogurki?...Her's a 'discriminating Pole ' with a 'high shopper IQ' who did her research and is now enjoying top notch pizza: She is from the Krakow area.
My mum was amazed at just how often my GF ate pickles. Round the clock pickle munching. That was the first thing on the shopping list. Much cheaper here tho, u can pick up a big jar for 3.50zł
Is this Gary Sinise of humour or just sense of humour?
Poles are so hard to measure on this one. Poles tend to have this polarity, more visible in the transition from autumn/fall into winter. Some have GSOH and others diabolical
i take it a pole made this "IQ" test, granted that real IQ tests dont prove a huge amount i wonder how much validity can be placed on this one other than poles have had to be cautious when spending hence more practical sense when choosing caviar de sioux or their local fish, its a tricky choice..
WB is right, u can't spend what u don't have. Unless u r on wads of credit. It's like calling Scots stingy when we are just thrifty, u can always turn it on its head.
Siegfriend, some Poles have a lot, some don't, like anywhere. But generally they have less. Bank adverts will be there regardless, people fall into the credit and borrowing trap too easily. Set a sprat to catch a makerel and all that.
U r right tho, Poles save for a rainy day (for the black hour in Polish).
Im a pole and i have the worst shopping IQ. I often regret that i bought some expensive Ralph & Lauren shirt when i could buy a nice Espirit shirt for the same price.
