I dont think that its only in Poland that this happens! I am actually more disturbed that the OP thinks it neccessary to stick up for all those poor 'naive' girls. Please give the female sex some credit for being able to say no to an unwanted sexual proposition..after all we have been doing it for most of our adult lives! If someone offers to have sex with you for money, then how exactly can you not understand the implications of what that involves? I never said she was naive, i said she was shocked and upset that someone would go into her place of work and sexually harrass her.

well because its a polish forum, and he would want people to be more aware
in case this guy is a real nut case and does do something to some unsuspecting

1. I am 99% certain that that the incident that the OP describes is just some random perv, and I would even go so far as to doubting that the chap was even American.

2. Similar things happen all the time. When I was in the 6th form (about 16 / 17), there was one girl who was desparate to be a model. She was approached by a guy who claimed to be a model / talent scout... turned out that she had a nasty experience.

3. I'm not surprised that the poor girl was shaken up after that experience. She is entitled to work without harrasment. Anyone who has no sympathy for her is, quite frankly, a knob.

4. There is nothing wrong with porn - each to their own and all that.

5. The adult entertainment industry would almost certainly have more credible / low-key means of recruiting.

How spooky is the way the adults get entertained then. I rather call myself a growing up human...rather than an adult.

The key word is 'asking'. If it was once then it probably doesn't constitute harassment. This is in the loose sense. Harassment is generally a more persistent process.

However, hairball, asking sb for a shag could be considered as sexual harassment as SH is basically unwanted attention of a sexual nature. Hence the term 'constant harassment' for a more persistent approach. This is a more precise, legalistic view of it
