Average citizen in the EU knows little about this organization

I can understand this as I see Polands citizens have been kept out of the loop for so long, now to play catch up will take some time. Do you see the average citizen as wanting to be involved?

This is not only about Poland. Majority of people are hardly interested does not matter which political system. Still many such ignorants vote in elections. Thus all populism coming from political parties is directed at this group of voters.

The average citizen of small country or country without obvious power is not allowed to be involved.The average citizen of big country puts up with it because he is warned that otherwise ...the pandora box will open.

So Poland has a way to go. Lets take the missile shield, will this be put before the citizens for a final vote?

They really do make it hard for the citizen.

Lastly, the out-of-court methods for the protection of EU citizens' rights comprise two parts:

the right to petition the European Parliament;
the right to apply to the Ombudsman.

How do the people of Poland feel about this and other important decissions, are there groups to change this and give the people more of a voice?

before the war communists were on the margin in Poland. Later system was imposed by Russians and our commie margin ... it was like somebody would give power (by brutal force) for BMP in UK and Russian/German soldiers for help to deal with blacks and rule UK ... of course if people form BMP would like to be more independent there would be military intervention ... as it was in Czechoslovakia or when Hungarians made rebelion.

Lets hope that nobody is going to invade Poland to impose this system by force.
