that is not an option duhhh what have i just said??? you can't make it look like it's unread once you read it, end of.

You can ask whoever sent it to send it again and delete the one you just read.
"Sorry. I accidentally deleted your message before I could read it."

or you just delete the email. then that sorts all problems out..she didnt see it..it got lost in some database somewere

i reckon anyway that this option of making your messages look 'unread' is there for a purpose of concealing the fact that somebody's gone through your inbox
