Just saw on a military forum the plane had exploded after a crash on landing, Polish text;

14 passengers and 4 crew members onboard.

Looks like all 20 personnel were killed on board, it was carrying officials who had attended an air safety conference in Warsaw.

It's Poland's worst air crash in 35 years.
God bless them!!

No, and I guess no one in Mozambique posted the Polish air crash on their forums, everything is relative to where you live.

2 squadrons commanders,1 regiment commander,1 general
and few polish pilots probably died in that crash.(yes, they were important). That is a serious problem for polish defence. We lost headquarter.

No, it happens all the time in Poland. We have already discussed this topic before. Air crashes are very common and accidents grow all the time 'jak grzyby w lesie po deszczu'. It is certainly not the worst in thirty five years because I was in Gdańsk tewnty something years ago (circa 1986?) and a huge airliner crashed outside Warsaw and at least ten times that number were killed. As I say, we have already talked about this before. The trouble is, Poland buys cheap old Russian equipment and it fails.

No, it happens all the time in Poland.

Can you provide links then Michal to back up what you say, admittedly I meant to say military air crash, but even civil air crashes are rare:

* LOT Polish Airlines Flight 007, crashed near Okęcie Airport in Warsaw. March 14, 1980
* LOT Polish Airlines Flight 5055, crashed in Kabacki Forest (Warsaw). Warsaw on May 9, 1987
* Lufthansa Flight 2904, crashed during landing on Okęcie Airport in Warsaw. Okęcie International Airport on September 14, 1993
And the last one was German!!

something years ago (circa 1986?) and a huge airliner crashed outside Warsaw and at least ten times that number were killed.

I guess he is right. 183 fatalities in 1987 LOT Polish Airlines Flight 5055

Of course it doesn't make this tragedy any lesser :(
