Yeah, I heard about it... so at least they don't need Polish people :-) btw, and what do you think about Australia/Sydney? I would like to move there within next 10 years... distant future, I know... :D

A lot of americans are coming to the EU now looking for jobs because they have a massive problem with illegal immigrants from Mexico.

That's nonsense. Mexicans take menial jobs mostly - like working 16 hrs a day on farms in California (100 degrees) or doing maintinance/gardening jobs for $6-8 an hour. I don't see how Americans would take such jobs.

That all depends. I work a professional job, so these Mexicans don't affect me any. It's the uneducated people that may be affected...Dishwashers-landscapers...you know, mindless work :)

Plus we need these Mexicans to work in our fields. The farmers rely on their labor.

Yeah, I heard about it

From where? I live in the US and I've never heard people wanting to leave because of the Mexicans...really, it sounds rediculous.

I don't think that's true....the illegal immigrants from Mexico (for the most part) are here doing menial jobs and physical labor to help their families at home....I seriously doubt a "janitor" for example who loses his job to a Mexican Immigrant is going to go to Europe in search of work there.....but as someone said before, it's not all about money....I have a friend who is so fed up with the state of affairs our country is in, she has considered moving to Europe with her son....

No, no, no... I didn't mean that American leaves because of Mexicans, but only that you have problems with many illegal immigrants from Mexico :-)

Why would you not want them in Europe, Espana? She's frustrated with our Govt. and a certain amount of fear is what's influencing her.....she's actually a very nice person with her own money, so she wouldn't be a drain on the EU system.

FISZ is right. The media probably makes it look worse than it is. I live in California and I haven't seen a Mexican all day. Wait. I take that back. I did see one today. My dad. And I'm fine.

:D Mexican American ?

Mexican Americans don't like to just get into gang fights,
they like flowers and music and white girls named Debbie too.

Mexican Americans are named Chata and Chella and chemma
and have a son in law named jeff.

Mexican Americans don't like to get up early in the morning
but they have to so they do it real slow.

Mexican Americans love education so they go to night school
and they take spanish and get a B.

Mexican Americans love their Nana's and their Nono's and their
Nina's and their Nino's........ Nano Nano Nina Nono!

Cheech is the man ;)

Sorry but you obviously don't have a clue.

Mexicans are not uneducated bums as you seem to believe just are the Polish are not.

Mexicans are highly educated and frequently occupy positions in Construction, Mechanics, Agriculture, Landscaping, Trades such as carpentry or plumbing and various manual positions such as factories etc..

In a similar format, they often live many people to a single house (no rent costs) and avoid paying certain taxes (vehicle tax for example).

They can therefore undercut the native population.

Research Southern California

Mexicans are generally very warm hospitable people, in California when your car breaks down usually its a Mexican who stops to help you out.
I would kill for a real Mexican restaurant in Poland real burrito, al pastor with Guacamole!

In addition, some even have college degrees and high paying jobs. They're lawyers, doctors, business owners, work in computer related fields, electronics, etc. Many work for major companies and have nice homes in nice neighborhoods. Not all Mexicans are illegals. Some have legal permission to work in the US while still remaining Mexican citizens.

Some people would be surprised at how many of the people who are working in the fields are saving up money to buy homes, start businesses and send their kids to college.

If I am able to assist in any way let me know, I live in Victoria which is the smallest of the inland states, (its similar to the size of Poland). I would be setting my sights on Perth (Western Australia) which is currently going through a boom period. If you have the skills and can half speak English this is the place to go to. The place by the way has almost zero unemployment and is crying out for skilled people. Its a type of place where you enjoy a cold beer and vodka is a drink reserved for alcoholics.

Forget about the ills of what is going on in GB/USA and come down under!

Sounds good, thanks for your post. First I want to make real money in Europe and set some business. Then i will move to Australia. That's my plan :)

Well, we should define 'real money' first. Take a look at salaries for guys with CCNP + experience:

not bad for me... enough to start business in Poland after a year with good salary in UK.

Bravo Mr.FISZ - And you & your mates were giving lectures to me about "stereotypes". I find your statements downright disgusting; do you mean to say that educated & professional mexicans don't exist in America?

Secondly, you go on to insult the dishwashers & landscapers by implying that you don't need a brain to do those jobs.

It's unfortunate that we don't have a mexican here to defend his community.

Maybe we need to call daisy to start screaming for the Moderator...no, let's not...;-)

"It's unfortunate that we don't have a mexican here to defend his community."

I'm Mexican American and Polish descent and that whole thing is totally insulting, epecially that Cheech song, but people have the right to their opinions and feelings. I would never attack FISZ for expressing what he feels.

And underneath it all, Mexicans are Native Americans who came from Asia, just like FISZ. We have the same blood. I would never hate my brother.

Your tolerance is admirable Ms.filmcasting(?); however, you should speak out against people like this. You don't have to hate him but you can put him in his place; I'm sure other mexicans wouldn't take such postings lying down.

I can't speak for Fisz, and unfortunately he won't be around for a while to defend himself, but I think it has been established that stereotypes have some validity to them. That being said, perhaps Fisz' only experience has been with illegal aliens (it's usually the illegal ones that do these jobs). I live in a city with a high population of hispanics, some are legal and some are not.....most are just wanting to live a better life in relative peace and make enough money to care for their families here and in their homeland.

you go on to insult the dishwashers & landscapers by implying that you don't need a brain to do those jobs.

I must say, I did find his wording to be somewhat offensive.....I have more respect for the person who holds down an honest job like dishwashing, fast food cooking, or manual labouring than a thug who steals from others or sells drugs to kids, all to line their own pockets. It's not just immigrants or illegals that hold these positions, it's our children learning some responsibility or the single mom or dad taking on extra work to help make ends meet. I have been very fortunate and am extremely grateful for the opportunities I have had in my life.....I even worked at McDonalds during the summer between high school and college.....I didn't like the work at the time, but I am grateful for the responsibility that it taught me.

I currently live in North Carolina, where we have a very large Mexican population. I see both Educated and Non Educated Mexicans working bottom rung jobs, but mostly because there are illegal. Most legal Mexicans I have met are educated and hold pretty decent jobs.

Most of these Mexicans are hard working, and have aspirations for the future. When I was in High School I delivered pizza for a company that had in its employment an illegal Mexican. He was the hardest worker in that place, and I suggested that he buy a car and put some payments down on it to increase his credit. He bought a Firebird and he and his wife worked their tails off for 5 months, sometimes making two payments a month, to get the car payed for. The result was a good enough credit score to merit a house loan.

There are bad apples in this bunch of course, who come here looking for nothing more than an easier way to be lazy bums, since in Mexico this is much harder to pull of than here in the US. This is the case with any nationality though.

Overall I would say that Mexicans are pretty essential to America's economy at present, but they really should strive more to enter the US legally or atleast take some steps to legalize themselves once here.

I would also have to say that in regards to living here in the US, as opposed to living in Poland, I am a prime example. I was born in Poland, but have lived in the US for most of my life. To me, the US is good for two things: Living a pretty comfortable life while doing minimal work, or working very hard to put away money.

The US is the crappiest place I have ever been when it comes to being young. All we have to do here is work, or go to College (usually both). I've lived all over the US, and when it comes to having fun or just in general being entertained, the only place that is even remotely applicable is New York. The clubs here are so god aweful they are not even worth visiting, and American's have absolutely no party sense. Parties here consist of people posing in their most expensive clothing and standing around in tight "klicks" talking to each other. Have fun? No way! Dance? Hah, FAT CHANCE!

Most of my friends here are young Poles who have little education. They came here to make money and come back to Poland. They ended up staying for years. They work 4-5 days a week, just enough to get bye and what do they have? Apartments, cable TV, computers, and playstations. They spend their lives laying on the couch playing video games, since there is nothing to do regardless of where you go. In the beginning we where always trying to organize parties and have fun, but those efforts where are futile and eventually ended all together. Half of them speak of coming back to Poland every other day, but instead resign to the couch and order some pizza. They have become in a sense "Americanized".

I've had more than enough America for a lifetime, so over the last few months my main concern has been putting away money. Now that this is completed, i'll be moving back to Poland in August, and see absolutely no reason to move back in my lifetime.

I understand what you're saying but I'm hardly lying down. I have my own successful business and a high education. I think I already explained in one of my posts above that Mexicans are also professionals and they have successful lives.

However, I do believe that illegal immigration is against the law and I think people do have reason to complain. It's especially unfair when they get certain privilidges and benefits that citizens don't. I've seen some illegals get all of their medical costs paid in full but I have to pay high insurance fees myself.
