Oki, one of the girl that I has been meeting recently couldn't find a good job in my city (she is smart etc but she has choosen not good major/studia) ... so after one half of year looking for a job she went to UK (my english, screw it), she wanted me to go with her but I couldnt (not only job). Few months ago I heard that my ex with his boyfriend (thanks to god) left to UK and I could tall you plenty stories such like these. X girl went with his new boyfriend (englishman) to Austraila another of course inteligent and beutfilly blondy merried some rich german (young not old etc.) This situation really piss me off. We are living in the fucken merchant culture within $ is very important. Almost everything (direclty/indirectly) depend on money. Why do people in Poland earn $400-600?. First German destroy Poland during WWII and next Churchil and Roosvelt sold us to Stalin (and fifty years of communism) and we were 4th ally during IIWW, 6 milions Poles dead (including 3 milions Jews), Poland won but lost 1/4 of his territory, funny isnt? They even didnt invite Poland to parade of victory after IIWW, they screw us by big S and now they are 'stealing' young polish people, well educated people that should buliding this country. 1,2 milions Poles has left Poland in last years. And do You know what the problem is? We! such pissies like Bartolome and others. Pissies that thinking only about yourself! For whom Poland means nothing. Thanks to god I havent met englishman with polish girl in my city yet. And these insolent anglo-saxo pissies are talling us that we are worst ... man. But these little traitors like Bartelome and others are the worst. That is not all. Happy? So think about Poland and who will be warking for old age pensions.

Moralny, a friend of mine is Polish, she is here with her Polish boyfriend they work very long hours and are saving a lot of money to buy a property in Poland, she goes back to Poland next Sept to continue with her studies, they are here so that they can have a better life in a couple of years in Poland, they are not the only Polish people that are doing this, people will return and they will return back to Poland and invest what they have earnt in England...And not all us pissie Anglo-saxons are telling the Polish they are no good I have very positive views of a vast majority of Polish people..Im sorry you are upset with what has happened, you will meet someone, just stop crying about it and be positive.

Well maybe people should do what people in England do, we dont expect much from our pensions so we have private ones.

Amathyst: I didn't want to offend You it was to englishmen that think that they are better than we (I found here some thread about this - something like why Polish women prefere foreginers). Excuse me if it touch You.

P.S

A lot of people post rubbish on here so I wouldnt take it too seriously Moralny....you will see a lot of Polish people coming back to Poland, some will stay here in the UK but most will return...I understand you to a certain degree, but if Poland paid better salaries to people they would not leave, its down to your government to have a good think about what is needed to keep the young and talented to build a better future Poland.

p.s.

I dont offend easily...good night

Sorry for being off topic here -

So, that is that sorted and as for life, well, it got a lot easier once i solved my other problem

Well, I'm glad to hear it Huegel.

Who are you and what have you done with our Syrena???)

I read somewhere you were a Trekkie too. I think I got beamed up :)

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest you know.

It wouldn't take me much encouragement to jump on a plane and go away for a while, indeed. How are you finding Austria?

I read somewhere you were a Trekkie too.

I wouldn't boldly go that far, but that's just me splitting infinitives! :)

How are you finding Austria?

Not bad actually. It's a really safe place to live, the weather in the summer is fantastic (If you like the heat) and it's GREAT in the winter (if you like the cold!) It's a bit on the expensive side, but that's thanks to the €uro, but overall, i'll be sad to leave. (Though i really do hate vienna!) My advice, avoid like the plaque! :)

The Austrians themselves are a singularly xenophobic lot though, has to be said. Still, they're quite simple in their tastes and usually placated by small amounts of sausage...that didn't come out right! :) hehe

So, how you doing anyway, things still seem to be getting you down? :(

I had not realized that this was coming through so loud and clear in my posts. Miranda made the same comment. Nothing too serious but a bit blue, yes. A broken heart...

A broken heart...

ahh :( Know the feeling.
Must be the time of year. Hey, to paraphrase robbie williams...once the heart's broken, there is nothing left to break. (I think there is a message in there somewhere!)

I'd offer to sing, but that might just add to your troubles! hehe

No seriously, if you would like to talk, send me an email, i'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours and all that! But you have to go first! :)

I don't know what to say to this. This is a beautiful message, Huegel. Thanks. I might e-mail this week-end. If you change your mind about going first, go ahead.

BTW, have you read my Intro?

Take care.

G'day Lef,

yes there are some things i miss about oz, but i have travelled for many years with work, so its not much of a difference.

Job wise, the first job i was offered was as an English teacher, they didnt care about my TESOL cert, they just need english native speakers.

I actually work at te moment as a Technician on CNC plasma machines, travelling throughout Europe.

This problem is more complex than you think it is but I am not going into.

Of course, everybody around you are dumb and ignorant, only you know 'the secret'. Just like the people you cast your vote for.

such pissies like Bartolome and others

Well, you are helpless, aren't you ? So you learn from the best ? Are there the politicians you vote for ? PiS ? LPR ? Samoobrona ? If you can't go 'ad rem' you go 'ad personam', don't you ? If you didn't offend me like that, I would discuss with you and told you about my motives. But everything I can write to you is F***K OFF.

But these little traitors like Bartelome and others are the worst.

I'm the ONLY person who will decide what to do with my life. What to hell do you know about me ? NOTHING. I'm not going to explain myself to you. So F***K OFF.

I'm an English/french guy and I'm marrying my Polish girl because we are in love.
Mt mother is French, my father is English. So for me not marrying an English girl is hardly something out of the ordinary. I feel sorry that you are so aggrieved by the Polish girls getting with UK men. If your bothered imagine how the English girls must be feeling, when all around them there are fitter, prettier women speaking two language.

Maybe you should head to the UK and meet an English girl.

Remmber. First you need money, then you get some power and then you get the women.

Don't you ever take it into consideration that some of these people leave to earn a better education or a trade. Such tools are very useful to bring back th PL to help rebuild the country. Not everyone plans on staying in the UK forever.

I know it but we will see what will happen and who will be back. I am not sure that British firms, companiens will be happy with loosing their intelectually workers. Physical workers are in worst situation - big differences in wages between UK, Ireland and Poland etc.

Moralny, you don't have to appologize, but thank you.
I think you know more english than you realize, you write very well! Isn't that right everybody? We've seen worse on here...
It's really nice that you want to keep Polki away from foreigners, that you care about the future of Poland and it's people, but I don't think you can do much to stop that.

Krysia is a really nice lady,

Hey, come on...you're making me blush.....

I know how Poles live in London. I read news, unlike you.

Why do You think that I dont know? I was talking about polish mass-media/newspapars generally and how antagonist they are to current governmant/PIS, for example GW attacked them almost everyday in its articles and now there is a bad/stuffy amopshere in Poland and some people emigrated because of this.

Did you know that 'Central Office of Preventing Corruption' hasn't got its own phone number yet ?

(22) 694 75 47 , cba.gov.pl

Lekarze w kamasze ? And who is going to heal people then ? Swamp witches ?

What is the problem? Meybe You have read another 'pro-PIS' article in GW

It didn't come from a void. PO and PiS promised to establish a coallition. Power-hungry politics however couldn't make a reasonable agreement.

But they tried.

So PiS gave its a***e to national fanatics from LPR and sentenced criminals from Samoobrona.

The end justifies the means.

when they dismiss others in order to replace them with their people.

Are they first?

But no, I won't accept it, since they don't use that power in a proper way.

Please read my text (in polish) again.

Okey Bartolome, I dont want You to support PIS or something. PIS isnt perfect as I wrote (in polish) but they have a lot to do, Poland need them today because they are determined to fighting with corruption which is very high and not only with it. Some newspapers dont support them softly saying and screw up atmospshere in Poland. They even dont give them a chance.

-----
I dont want to talk about politics etc. I wanted only show You other point of view.

Lol, who on this site is encouraging Polish girls to marry foreigners????? I think they do that on their own......this is just a forum, being a Polish guy and knowing my country well, I know why men from other countries find our women attractive......you cannot fault them for that.......me? I dont like that our women are becoming like comodities for other countries to import as girlfriends, partners and so on.......some content on sites like: http : / /www . polish marri age . org/ (sorry, i hate to put space between the address because of spaming, just delete the spaces to get the adress) is so embarassing it makes me cringe, it totally describes them as a product.......

that is what i hate, but if a Polish girl marries say an Irish guy or something and they live in Poland, that doesnt really bother me, her life and choices not mine........it doesnt bother me because I know lots of "ethnic" Poles have mixed backgrounds as well, with Germans, Lithuanians and the rest of the eastern bloc, and there has even been some immigration from western europe a few centries back..........but losing more and more people to emigration isnt cool at all, just because our country is becoming more ****** up by it.....

having said all that i dont really understand why Polish girls would be running away from Polish men so much.........I think there is a tad of paranoia in your initial post........just because they move away doesnt mean they wouldnt want a Polish guy or something, they could just as likely settle down with a Pole in France, England, and so on........

moralny, these days, relationships are more likely to cross boarders more often.

poland is not the only country that has to deal with migration and immigration. according to the official statistics, in the past 9 months, about 100.000 dutch people migrated from holland to a number of other countries aswell, and so far, we've gotten 70.000 foreigners in return.

so hey, big deal. :)

"ethnic" Poles have mixed backgrounds as well, with Germans, Lithuanians and the rest of the eastern bloc

what is an "ethnic Pole"? My mom's family has been called ethnic Poles. What else is there besides German and Lithuanian?
marek_USA
25 Nov 2006 /  #87
well i put ethnic in quotations because the borders of what is considered modern Poland has changed throughout history, Poland use to be 3 times as big, but has shrank since ww2 and has even been completely wiped off the map. So given that there are plenty of Poles with mixed heritages, lituanian, german, belarussian, russian, and so on.....and even though a large portion of the Jewish population in Poland were either exterminated or deported, I bet there still a small amount of Poles with Jewish heritage......there are also Tartars in Poland that have been there since between the 13th and 17th century, but the amount of them is very minimal.......i also heard there was a small amount of Scottish settlement in and around Poland, not sure if they stayed, they were traders i believe
