My polish girlfriend is still living with her (dutch) boyfriend, she wants to move in with me, but she tells me 4 months are not enough to move in. She want to wait till december. She also told me Polish people don't live together that quick is it true?

4 months anywhere isn't long enough to move in with someone. My opinion of course.

Well it's kinda complicated, my girlfriend is in love with me (i'm a girl) but she lives with her (ex)boyfriend who treats her like crap, calling her names and threatens her. He is an alcoholic and she feels like living in jail.

I want her to move in with me so I can give her a better life but she tells me that 4 months isn't enough to move in together. I know it isn't enough but why living the bad life when she can have paradise? So she said that Polish people don't move in together very fast.

I guess you just have to wait till she feels ready....Perhaps its not so easy to get away from her situation....

I know it isn't enough but why living the bad life when she can have paradise?

But, from her point of view; How is she positive the same thing won't happen.

I'd give her time...really. 4 mos is not enough time to really know someone.

I already know her for 2 and half years, but we are only intimate for 4 months now

If the relationship is good , then she is worth waiting for.....just hang in there , and be there when she needs you....you just have to wait....

Im just courious, is this her first relationship with a woman? do you think she might want to delay things because of this?

Good luck :)

yes this is her first relationship with a woman, but she has always been curious about a relationship with a woman. She even thinks she has been a lesbian for a few years but never dared to admit it. I dunno if she's delaying things because of that, i sure hope not..

It sounds to me as an excuse. Sorry.

She's taking advantage of:

a) Dutch boyfriend
b) you
c) a and b

there are no other options. No matter how kind she thinks her motivations are, the real world results are that she's using one (or both) of you and setting one (or both) of you up for heartbreak.

Time to make an ultimatum: Either she makes a quick, clean break from Dutch boyfriend and commits to you openly (as possible) or you walk.

Accept no excuses, and remember: the longer you draw it out and the more patient you are, the bigger the hurt you're setting yourself up for. If she's not ready now for a break she's not lesbian but the kind of bi-curious girl who'll go back to men once her curiosity is satisfied.

Forever? For a year? For how long? You need to **** or get off the pot (and she does too).
Remember, she's not doing right by anyone but herself at present, not you or the Dutch boyfriend. As long as you wait, you're a party to the wrong she's doing him (if that concerns you).

Nope i don't care about him, he's a a jerk, alcoholic guy who beats her up and steals her money..

Sounds to me like she's made her choice: she'd rather be with an awful boyfriend than a (presumably) good girlfriend.

If she won't leave a loser like that for you, then mark my words, even if she does leave him, she'll dump you the moment a decent guy appears on the scene.

The only possible reason to stay (temporarily) is if she's planning on disappearing from his life in an untraceable way (sometimes necessary in cases of domestic violence and it does take preparation). But there's no indication from you that that's happening.

she already has it.
i hate to tell you this, but wake up, this isnt a movie but real life.
you can waste your life waiting or move on, and just about everybody will tell you to move on.
if something happens in the future, good. if not and chances are it wont, you hadnt wasted time on nothing.
