I know how you feel. I'm a girl and polish and my boyfriend is from a strict asian household and one day I will have to meet his parents and that is very scary.

But, I bet it means a lot to her for you to meet them. If i might ask where are you from?

Does he family know you are dating? If they do and she wants you to come meet them they probably won't be shocked. Is she an only daughter?

It seems strange that she hasn't told her mother about you. Has she said what she would do if her mother doesn't approve? Will she still stay with you?

You're not the one who would be making trouble in her life. It would be her family if they don't accept you.

Absolutely none, women like men who are slightly older and can take the lead. My girl is 4 years younger than me (30 and 26).

i followed my heart . its nor been easy-there are still issues-i have not met his family yet-i think this is wise at the moment. because wanting to please the familt can interfer with your relationship-best to develop your relationship first-make sure its a strong bond-then together you can support any negativity the family may cause. i ask your age- because i am 40 and my guy is 30. i got married at your girlfriends age-i had only known my x-husband 1 year-we were in love-i thought-BUT his family eventually came between us-take time to make sure you and your girlfriend will stand together not alone. at her age i felt guilty if i -went against my parents wishes-many times i pleased them more than i should have. in a relationship the two of you are the most important -this is my view

I don't think it will be as major of a problem as an Egyptian going to a Polish household.
You even look Asian yourself.

what do u think?? how it might be

Well, sorry to be pessimestic, but a lot of the older Polish folks aren't really used to seeing their kids, especially daughters, marry outside of their race and religion. I don't know who this girl is, and what her family is like, but I would be prepared if I were you, to recieve some hostility at first. If you are a good guy, eventually that will pass and you will be accepted. Hell, you might be lucky, and hit some liberal family that really doesn't care about ethnicity/religion etc...

Go meet her parents with an open mind, and be prepared for the worst. If you find it hard to communicate, and find some similar views with her family, then just take the girl aside and ask her about their personalities, about what they like etc.. get some gifts for them. I'm not saying to buy their love, but be very kind and honest, and I don't see why they wouldn't like you.

What religion do you practice, if you don't mind my asking?

Turks, Greeks the same as Arabs? Yes, go on living and thinking that, little Polish friend.
That would be like me saying that Poles and Germans are the same thing. Would you enjoy having that comparison?

As long as you have good intentions for her, and no plan of forcing her to convert or adapt to some conservative Muslim rules, like a veil, then her family should have no problem...

As long as you have

that didnt even cross my mind , and by the way her parents dont speak english and the only way to talk with them is their doughter , i hope that wont make them nervous ...

lol, silly you. Go read up on something more about the Greek culture other than a "arabish," (which isn't even a word), dance.

that didnt even cross my mind ,

: )

i hope that wont make them nervous ...

I don't see why it would... they will still be looking at you directly as you speak, and it isn't your fault that they don't speak English, or that you don't speak Polish.

lol. I need to read to see some similarities? All I said was that she looked somewhat Asian. Many Eastern Europeans, especially Ukrainians, and Russians have a somewhat Asian look to them.

Turks and Greeks may look similar, just like Germans and Poles, but their cultures are entirely different. That is the whole point I was making...

really want to thank u filios

No problem : )
