"Back, sack and crack" is a common expression in england, or at least my area. But that is not to say it's commonly practised. If it is, it's not really spoken about because of the connotations of gayness.

Just an after thought... No one thinks a hairy back is attractive and women generally are not bothered about armpits or the 'sack'. It's a case of each to their own on that. Some prefer blonds and some prefer brunettes, it's not much different.

I'm not shaving my chest for anyone though!!! I have to keep a little of the monkey in me!

I've never heard of any man shaving their armpit for hygene or anything (except swim team). Isn't this practiced in Islamic culture?

yep... and pubic hair too.... all in the name of hygiene.. its quite sensible if you think about it... a cluster of sweaty arm pit hair only spells trouble... think sweat, dirt build up, bo problems...

same with pubes....

Some guys in the US shave their chest. They also look like idiots when they wear no shirt with a stubble chest. duh. All to be pretty. Lame.

Some people prefer to grow a beard on their face, others shave it. Same with the chest. A lot of younger women find excessive chest hair extremely unnatractive. Plus when you train hard and have a lean body why not show it off instead of leaving it covered in fuzz!

Shaving under armpits, is encouraged in Islam mainly for hygiene - also clipping nails, shaving other **private parts**.. i perosnally think everyone should do it.. imagine how it feels on a busy train or bus wid #Mr' next to u n his smelly jungle!!

I'm a polish man, i'm not gay (1000% straight), i'm not a member of any swimming team and i do shaving my armpits! This is the only part of my body i shaving. I'm not doing it on the legs, chest or anywhere else. It's makes me feel clear and comfy. My personal opinion is : everybody should do it no matter their sex !!!

you would be a dumb ass to say that you ******* moron go under a rock and die. i bet you also believe in having a nasty hairy bush on your cock. Shaving makes you sweat les. Its more appealing down under. but what do you know you are still in the closet.

Smelly jungle? If you wash frequently you won't smell. Whether you shave your arm pits or not if you don't wash you'll stink. I don't shave my armpits and I won't. I'm a man. I always smell good. The secret to that is wash twice daily with soap and shower gel then spray yourself with deoderant.

As for hairy chest, alot of women like it but only in moderation. From the women I've known they hate excessive hair on the chest.

Is it really necessary to wash with soap and shower gel? I find that one or t'other tends to work fine.

I tend to wash with soap first and then wash with shower gel afterwards for scent. Maybe I'm doing more than I should but that's what I've always done.

Maybe I'm a little bit out of the subject but I just felt it should be said here.
I'm sure most of you've heard that amount of women with a brest cancer is higher and higher every year. The most common is one in area of arm. Recently I've read that it's because of using the antiperspirants. Blocking production of sweat = acumulating toxins under the arms. Especialy dangerous is using the deo on a shaved skin.

I know, men will think it's not about them because they don't have breasts. As a matter of fact cancer in the area of arm is called the same for female and male.

For your own safety don't shave!
