dear people,
i can explain - in uk and usa there was a gap in the market, sudenly many many women especially from poland have arrived, some are single and looking for love, some want to enjoy some are here to their own thing. i think becsue they are new to the scene alot of emphasis is put on them, wait for a few months and the next batch arrives then the story will change.

overall i think no one should be looked at their race, this was the problem duing the wars in the last century, and what the russians done in our land a few years ago. there should be equality based on character not nationality.

funny, that's just the reputation British and American women have, but we know what good stereotyping does us!

Are so very very loyal to their partner?
Are very family orientated focussing on he childs development?
Are firmly set on Traditions?

they aint what they used to be though...

was intelligent enough that i wouldn't need to explain myself always (disregarding language difficulties)

to explain yourself when you're going to give her orders?

i'm a polish girl:

Cook very well ?

i can't cook at all and i am not going learn it. ever.

Are firmly set on Traditions?

i hate traditions (except maybe christmas eve food)

They are beautiful, intelligent, caring but the one overriding trait is that they are prone to being overly emotional which in the end will drive most men nuts. I should know as I am the only one of my friends who still has a Polish wife.

yeah, you should! that's almost as if you knew all the polish women (but what for? we're all the same anyway)

Might I ask? Are the various stereotypes, due to your culture, still true of Polish women:
They ARE, on average, more intelligent than the men? (these days)
Tend to be fairly well mannered and polite?
Appreciate a gentleman being a gentleman?
Cook very well ?:) (not that i would expect you to)
Bit wary of this one but - Are fairly beautiful compared to the world? (though bare in mind I find kindness in someones soul seems to make said person shine out beauty)
Are so very very loyal to their partner?
Are very family orientated focussing on he childs development?
Are firmly set on Traditions?

I couldn't read this whole post without writing sth. I've never heard such a load of stereotypes in a long time. And you really seem to believe in them. I'm a Polish woman and know a lot of Polish women and can assure you there is very few of them who would completely fit in characteristics you set out above.

First of all I do not think Polish women are on average more intelligent than men, I met a lot of intelligent Polish guys and don't think you can say in any country that men or women are more intelligent.

Well manners is something you're taught by your parents and it does not really matter if your parents are Polish, French, Irish or American.

I think most women prefer a gentleman than a guy with no manners, that does not really depend on whether you're born in Poland or Western Europe.

As for cooking - among my close friends I know a girl who is a very good cook and girls who don't really care about cooking at all. In fairness, I'm a poor cook ;)

And about beauty - you can find attractive women in every country, there is no "special land" inhabited by "only beauties".

As for honesty and loyalty to others - I don't even know what to say, from my own experience it is more about WHO you are NOT WHERE you are from.

And what the heck does "a family orientated woman" mean????

I don't get it...

Why do people have such a hard time dealing with the concept of GENERALIZATION? I never said ALL American/British women are slags--any more than ALL Americans live in trailer parks--

because you didnt say those few that i dated who were from the uk or usa
and then we would have said awwww tough break , or sorry to hear etc.

and when you generalize, you are including those family and friends who
surround you,, thats the difference.. I think your a smarter cookie then
that.

Intelligent.
Funny.
Proud.
Hard workers.
Family Orientated. ( Not like western women )

Give me an Eastern European woman anytime.

Intelligent - I predicted 4 years ago that this 'underground chamber' where they are trying to smash little nutrons apart to try and make 'gravitons' to recreate 'the big bang', well I said if there are 'gravitons' there has got to be 'anti-gravitons' Its logical there has to be an opposite. If a graviton explodes then an anti-graviton must implode (black hole). No one took a blind bit of notice of what I said, they thought I was mad. FOUR years on, the Governments have only took it to the human rights court because they predict it could cause a black hole and end the world in FOUR years. Which coinsides with the Mayan Calender. No one told me, i figured it out for myself, thats intelligent.

Funny - Have you read 'I Fell off a cliff' by Elean Dover (I leaned over)
Proud - According to the dictonary it means - thinking oneself superior to other people - Errr no I would class myself more HUMBLE
Hardworkers - Full time Plumber - mother - wife.
Family orienated - 1 x Hubby, 3 x teenage Sons, 28 x Teenage girlfriends (aagggg)
1 x mom, 1 x brother, 1 x sister. Aunties, uncles and in-laws (and thats just my side of the family)
AND I'M WESTERN :oP

I say give me any woman like the above,

reading your post, any woman can be all of those things.. society has alot
to do with why we become this way. a mans saying we belong in the kitchen
when no ones even in the dining room to split up the bread.. what would be
the best description of someone whos been loved and left?

so far today, Ive seen some posts that are disturbing, Not yours, because
your explaining yourself pretty good.. but think about it, and anyone whos
put in a certain environment will go with that surrounding vs what they are
used to for someone they love. its sad that sometimes people go misunderstood.. and lets not forget that deep feelings dont always show, unfortunately to keep

ones pride in check alot of people wear a mask so that when the tears start to fall. its
not obvious..

one of the above posts talks about emotional, well I say bring on the emotions
because without them people just wouldnt talk.. you would be a motionless
straight faced zombie. yeah.

Men like peace and quiet most of the time

well thats pretty funny... so why does all that noise coming from your backside
say differently?? who u kidding.. have a few more beers and some cabbage
see how quiet you are compared to the women.. what a joke.
