i'm a Canadian living & working in PL and meet many ppl.

I've tried to plan something with them many times thru conversations in person, sms, and GG (instant messenger) and all i ever get for an excuse for not being able to do something is.....

"i don't have time"

now is this just the lame Polish excuse for being lazy?

Maybe you are trying to plan the wrong things.

Anyway, 'I don't have time' to answer this. :)

Hmmm... It's hard to say. Maybe they really don't have the time? :)

maybe they didn't fancy you and didn't want ot go out with you?

I would say that English, Canadian girls would behave similar?

Or would be more rude and say it ?

would help if you said what you wanted to do with them ect?

And what the poles that you are asking are like.

i've suggested going for a piwo, kawa, kino, shopping, kregle, going for a walk.....

they seem all interested at first... and then it just goes downhill.

Szczecin

I am from Szczecin - what's wrong with those people. I know quite a lot of people there so perhaps I can help here. What school are you working for?

What a conclusion! Simply people have their live, friends, family, work etc. meybe they really dont have time for YOU.

Och I have been in Szczecin several times I noticed that there are quite a lot of women with dark hair and women not rarely unfashonably even funny dressed :) especially in summer. and Szczecin have lot of neglected tenements in the centre :/

I agree with the first post. They are eigther lazy or they lack the confidence to say no. I met a lot of polish poeple like that. I must be something national.

Polish people can be stubborn sometimes and don't want to join in the fun!
Example: I went to a violin concert here in the US, with a woman from Poland. Afterwards they served really good refreshments. Everybody was digging in. She was the only one standing holding up a post and not eating. When asked why, she said she's not used to American food.

They've been here over 4 years. Illegally of course. But they pay their taxes.
When I travel to another country, I always try the native food. Well, except for Mexico, where they sell tacos on the street and can get sick from it, or Africa where they serve bugs!
