Hi All,
I need help in collecting financial information how much it would cost in złoty for me to move to Elbląg. I now live in Warsaw, so I know about life there, but not about the country.

The main expenses that interest me:
* Rent for a 2 bedroom and 1 living room flat in good condition;
* Charges (water, electricity... ) for this flat for 2 adults and a child;
* Internet rates;
* TV channel rates;
* Public transport (if exists);
* Taxi rates;
* Food and other goods compared to the prices in Warsaw;
* Nursery school or baby sitter prices for a 6 months old boy, how to book places, what are the difficulties;

I appreciate any help!!

Cheers,
Kata

Are you considering taking up a teaching post at a certain school which always advertises for teachers? If so, don't bother :)

No, I am considering to take up a good and nicely paying job, after my current good and nicely paying job in Warsaw. It would be a very good salary in Poland, but I still have to pay for my flat and things in my home country too, thats why i'd need to know the details about cost of living in the North of Poland.

Take a look online for property agencies (search : nieruchomosci elblag should do the trick) they may not provide perfect flat but will give you rough estimate

* Internet rates;
* TV channel rates;

The supplying companies- TP, Orange etc should charge the same prices for most of Poland

* Public transport (if exists);

Yes there is life outside of Warszawa :-)

* Taxi rates;
* Food and other goods compared to the prices in Warsaw;

Cheaper but not huge differences, depends on your tastes.

* Nursery school or baby sitter prices for a 6 months old boy, how to book places, what are the difficulties;

Again a bit of searching online should throw up some leads for nuseries etc
