I listen to orla.fm from time to time - it's in English and Polish

I tried to open that but was refused. Something to do with upgrading the media player but I have the most recent so I don't know what went wrong there. Which media player do you listen to it in? :/

PD vTuner is cool. It has my favorite stations from radiostacje.com and then some!

They've just added 3 more radio stations but I'm not sure which ones. :)

Polish radio via the web

for the past several months i listen to Polish radio......the most enjoyable station i've found thus far is from Warsaw....Slonsky Radio; the music/songs seem to reflect great variety and is generally upbeat (even "cute" sounding often); problem is i don't understand a word; anyone familiar with the station.....i'd appreciate knowing how that stations music would generally be characterized.

Inernet radio stations wanted to help with learning Polish language.

As my Polish is starting to pick up.. at least the passive knowledge ( I am at unit 4, level 1 of Rosetta stone) I am looking for internet radio stations.

Best would be a station where they mix leisure, with news.

thnx

In most of Poland most radio stations mostly play English language music (warning: most Poles don't listen to or care about lyrics in English so sometimes songs are cut off or begun at weird times).

I don't know of any easily available radio stations with spoken English.

On the other hand, internet radio from all over the world is available here (just like everywhere else).

On the note of internet radio, if you are coming from the UK, most radio programmes on BBC radio are available on BBC iPlayer.

you can bfbs which is the armed forces station in western poland, boring but all the presenters speak with a war northern accent,

Also BBC world service but dull isn't the word to describe how boring it is.

Does anyone know if they have DAB or satellite radio in PL yet?

RMF FM plays music in English or Polish and the odd other language. If you use V-Tuner you can get a lot of English language stations from the UK, not sure about the USA - never looked (well, I know they're there I just never listened to them :). You don't need to download anything special if you have Windows Media Player on your computer, that'll open most stations.

If there is a radio station that plays English music?

It depends what type of music. These days I listen to Eska Rock, which is mostly English Language music. Many Polish bands sing in English anyway.

If you only listen to English music you'll miss out on some good German, Russian and Polish bands.
To my knowledge there is only one strictly Polish (music) radio station.
Your main problem is not finding English language music, but finding a radio station that doesn't repeat the same tunes every half hour.
