Questions about moving to Warsaw from England. {tax, rent}

Afternoon ladies and gentlemen;

I shall be moving to Warsaw in September and would really like to hear from any Brits who are already out there.
Are there any forms I need to send to the tax man before leaving? What are the most important things to arrange before leaving and immediately upon arriving? I can't imagine my self paying tax twice, how can I avoid this?

I plan to be out there for longer than 1-2 years working full-time, so it is more of a permanent transition. I have only lived temporarily abroad before, no longer than 3-6 months at a time, so I would really appreciate any advice.

I plan on taking around £2000, I presume this should be enough but if anyone thinks otherwise let me know. Also, will it be hard to get an apartment before getting a job? I know how hard it can be in the UK, is this reflected in Poland?

I am using the following websites to look at apartments, does anybody else have others to add?

gratka.pl/dom/szukaj_f.phtml?id_podrubryka=1&id_rubryka=5
oferty.net/mieszkania/
domiporta.pl/pl/nieruchomosci/start.asp
me-mieszkania.pl/

Thanks!

hey hasil

dont wont to brush you off but you will find that most of these questions have been answered countless times before - a quick search using the search facility should give you what youre looking for and more...

gumtree.com is not a bad place to look for a flat... added to more often than other sites
