I would not say only poles, all slavics drink heavily, i wonder why? i mean, for me it would be lame to be the whole time drunk...i do not understand whats the pleasure in it.
I think drinking makes polish cities look far better.Everything also changes, appearance of girls etc in a very positive way.It is difficult to avoid drinking while in Poland.
In Ukraine it is more about excitement, pleasure of senses.Girls force you to drink to become excited.
Sledz is right, there are nations who drink much more. Look at Luxembourg, they topped the list and they are hardly backwards.
Most Poles don't drink that much. The drinkers are likely letting off steam after a stressful day. Some Poles seemingly stress themselves more than they need to I don't work in amongst so many so I can't make a rounded judgement. Any which way, they drink socially and there's nowt wrong with that in moderation.
I've had afew days off recently and on the last night I drunk 1,5l of vodka and you would have to be really close to even notice that I'm drunk... I shocked myself and that's not really an easy thing to do... But I won't touch that sh*t for the next month at least.
I'm not kidding. I thought that's impossibe too. I've been drinking every night for a week, not to get drunk but to have some fun... my theory is that the nervous system get used to that stuff when you have It in your blood for a long time.
YOU shouldn't drink that much then!! You'll kill yourself!
LOL ! I would have stopped immediatelly If had been only a mile away from killing myself. I don't now how that happened but It just stopped giving me the normal effect. I can drink a bit more than average person but normally I'mseriously drunk after 0,5l.
0,5 l = 50 cl, about 5 cl/shoot would be about 10 shots, or maybe 8 beers.
You start at 4 pm and finish 4 am the day after. That's 4.2 cl/hour. Less than 1 beer per hour. Maybe you will not be so drunk. But you will probably have an evil hang over the day after.
Oh alcohol stories, one can never get enough of them, "I drank 15 pints" , "And I did 30".. all the same stuff over and over luckily this kind of boasting ends when people grow up..
Exactly, it's BS of the highest order. I drank a bottle of wine tonight and I made sure that I was up for it. Still, it's responsible drinking and not blown out of all proportion.
