I think that the impression that Polish youth is turning to religion was caused by the mass panic after the death of Karol Wojtyła. But in fact, in was an ephemeral phenomenon. Most teens try to be as trendy and western as possible and being a pious, traditional Catholic is not exactly so cool.

Poles (including teens) are followers of National Polish Church of Tradition. Although based on some Roman Catholic concepts this faith is very different as it for instance allows you to support death penalty and even requires you to persecute homosexuals.

In this sense I strongly believe that 95% of Polish population are very religious people however they are no more Christians than from Mars, irrespective of what they claim...
