We are looking at relocating to Poland, perhaps next year.

Can someone give us an idea of how much the average family car costs in Poland and also how the import duties are calculated if we decided to import a car

Thanks

It seems it's best to import expensive cars - if you try to import an "average" car, the total cost would be about the same as if you bought it in Poland. So the more expensive car, the best to import it.

Thanks for your reply Hello.

I was wondering if anyone knows the taxation on buying a new car in Poland and how it is calculated.

I seem to remember when looking at a car maagzine last year in Poland that premium western marques were slightly more expensive in Poland than say the UK !!!

So in real terms in you see a local driving a BMW costing £20k in the UK its the near equivalent of a £80k car in the UK!!
