Free School Bus Services in Poland - do they exist?

How do Poles take their kids to school? In the US there are free school buses that would take every child (in corporated regions) to school - and bring it back. How is it in Poland - do parents have to take kids to school or there are free school buses available?

Unfortunately, from what I can tell, they don't exist in Poland. Unless some private bus companies are hired by some schools, but it's not funded by the government like in the US.

Do they exist in big cities only (for example in Wroclaw or Warsaw)?

If at all, that would be rather in small towns and villages where public transportation is scarce. In larger cities a school should not be further than a few blocks away.

kids WALK to school

That may also explain some of the reasons why few Polish kids are hogs.

In any given area kids of the same age don't all go to the same school. Except in the countryside.
So, it's easier to use public transport in the city.
In the countryside public transport may be timed to fit in with school hours, which can make it bloody difficult for anyone else.

Not all pupils start school at the same time of day nor do they finish at the same time. which is another problem for a school bus service. It's bad enough organizing the 'school run' for two or three of them.

No. Rather in rural areas.
