Is there much of a party (drug) culture in Poland?
How easy is it to get drugs in pl?
Are drugs in pl expensive?
Do a lot of people take drugs in pl?

These are the questions i would like to know. I am doing a study on drug use in Poland vs. Australia for my criminology course. By the way, alcohol does not count.

Thanks guys

Why? i didn't know that just talking about drugs was illegal.

Weed is decriminalised where i live, you are allowed to have five plants and 28 grams on you. So forgive me if i don't share your paranoia :)

Beware of the Polski speed amphetamine, it is really strong. Match head buisness. But really useful for drinking your neighbour under the table.

Polski E's beware again tend to be amphetamine based.

Coke, around £25 sterling a gram, $50 a gram. Quality depends who you know.

Heroin is around mainly in the larger cities, Lodz, Katowice, Warsaw. Unfortunately alot of intravenous use. The are a number of addicts from other Eastern European countries, Ukraine etc. amongst indigenous Polski skagheads.

LSD and mushrooms. Both around especially mushrooms, fantastic forests for picking all over Poland.

Cannabis, alot of hashish floating around and some Skunks. Again hash is popular and cheaper.

However Poland has some what draconian laws regarding illegal "drugs".

"5 plants and 28 grams of weed", that would get you in trouble in Poland. You would be facing a custodial sentence, however, a sufficient bribe to the correct officers and you should be ok.

Don't test the theory.

My advice is be very cautious if you are investigating such matters in a foreign country and find friends to guide you through.

Drugs in Poland.

Most countries suffer drug abuse in many forms, it started with LSD (courtasy of the Vietnam war) and now we have ICE.(courtasy of the USA)

ICE is a drug which increases the body senses, it takes 5 to 6 people to hold a person down when effected. It is a new and frightening drug.

Has ICE reached its new targets in Poland, What is the drug situation in Poland?

Drug and Alcohol situation very bad.

Avoid if you are sane... go for it if you are a fool.

I say... much better things in the world....

oh this is awful. sorry guys, I know you have to discuss it, but I have a 14 year
old and it scares the heck out of me, especially college, some of the stuff they
get ahold of , like paint thinners, glue, stupid stuff, I told her, dont ever ever
let someone talk you into anything like that, its horrible, and it can kill you instantly
in some cases.

maybe it wont kill you immediately, but I believe in the fear of unknown.
if she is fearful, and or is told about it constantly, she will "hopefully" never
even attempt it. I tell her strait.

I tell her strait.

yep sis!... and also she needs to have love for her family more. People with weak background get into these stuff... and alcoholics try these too...for a change.

Anything that makes you loose control over yourself is harmful.

Children learn from what their elders do... just be a good person infront of her. And remember.....if you break one egg, ur kid will break 10....as s/he is the NEXT GENERATION.... and they are always a step ahead :)...

Hope this is helpful.

well Bro, one good thing is, she is stubborn and she tells me about her cousin
who does do drugs, and she wont hang with her, she says I dont want to be
around someone like that.

I told her I was proud, but i also told her, dont condem your cousin for falling
off the bandwagon. she doesnt have clear signals from her parents. and
her dad and mom should have buckeled down.

one thing I want is total trust. so far, she has done superb, lots of kids her age
are out on the street, she even says, where is their parents?

But I still worry, and prob wont stop worrying till she is married and has kids of
her own , which then , I will still worry, but it wont be the same worry.

:)

POLISH DRUG CULTURE?

How hard or easy is it to get drugs at GROUND ZERO, BLUE VELVET and other clubs in Warsaw and other big cities? What are the drugs of choice (roughly percentagewise)? What percentage of the customers, according to you knowledgeble estimate, would be high on drugs, booze or both? Can someone turn down a joint, say "I don't do drugs" and still be considered cool? What penalty does a drug dealer caught in the act face? Have any clubs been closed down for tolerating drug dealing on the premises?
