Wouldn't your children be important enough to want to preserve a European world for them to inherit. The media has completely brainwashed the last few generations to believe that Europeans should meld into a global mocca broth. We have a right to be us and only we can be us.

I wish it was that simple - but it's not. It's really difficult to brainwash me though. I was briugh up that way. Canada and USA are very different from what I understand and it's something we both cannot relate to.


Historical times were different at that time. I am a part of Ukrainian minority in Poland and as much as I would like things to be different, thay aren't. I look at facts most of the time. I judge people based on who they are in everyday life. That's just me:)

How can anything I've posted be construed as racist? To love my people as blacks, Mexicans, Brazilians and Jews do is racist? There's a logic disconnect here. You are brainwashed and shouldn't just attribute it to how you are.

For example a member of Parliament number of times voiced her private opinion in public and ranted anti-American slogans causing an embarrassment for the whole government, refused to apologize and the PM didn't cut her loose because he privately had similar views shows what kind of people were in power in Canada. All left wing liberal media have been also brainwashing people against Yankees for years. Perhaps you should broaden your horizons and listen to other people for a change. Go outside Toronto, up north once in a while and discover what people think in smaller communities (not to mention other provinces like Quebec, Alberta or BC). Perhaps start reading different newspapers, not only the Toronto Star or let the trash like NOW and Eye 'magazines' do what they are supposed to do namely advertise blow jobs and peddle hookers not be your reliable news source. Perhaps quit listening to 680 News or CBC. And don't say that we Canadians are not tolerant of Yankees because it's not true

I work with alot of Canadians, and never had heard that they didnt like us.

the only thing brought up was how well Canadian Govt was. and with total
agreeing on the subject, it was nice to hear how well Canada treats the citizens.

As for being brainwashed - we all are to a certain degree and it's almost impossible to avoid being influanced by media, unless I remove myself from society. SO, there are no easy solutions.

Besides, I cannot speak on belhalf of Canadians, since they have various views when it comes to the subject we are discussing.
In the future, if you want to educate somebody, perhaps you should give alternative sources of information instead of trying to change my beliefs.
As far as I know media has a lot to do with molding views, because that's their job(if I am not mistaken) and I am aware of that.
