PolskaDoll 27 | 1599 2 May 2008 / #1I've come across a recently released CD (see it /Best-Polish-Songs-Ever-Various-Artists/). Can anyone tell me if the songs on this are any good? Or if it would be worth buying as a present for a Polish friend? What sort of music is it? Mixed? :)

sixstring - | 2 18 Jun 2008 / #16hello, i'm new to this site, but it was the best door to enter--i just ordered the above mentioned CD and will let you know what i think--but hope i would not be rude if i were to ask, "where is Basia?"i first heard and saw her on VH1 whilst living in Alaska (late 80's--year-not my age!!!) and have even managed to play a couple of her songs on the guitar. she really needs to come back. gorgeous appearance and voice.
