Local contact to set up Sky TV in Wroclaw

Anyone provide a local contact to set up a Sky TV system in Wroclaw (decoder, dish etc) - Kryzski area ?

We've seen the CYFRA+ adverts but not sure they'd provide English channels - currently using VECTRA, which seems to offer only (mainly) Polish language channels, or Polish-dubed English language channels like AXN (CSI etc)

Cheers,

Scott

Get an HDTV nbox with a bigger dish. But you won't get all the Sky channels. Only Sky News. Another problem is that you'll need a dish with two heads, because to make the most of the system, you'll have to pick up signals from two different satellites.

Cannal+ is in English. There is a language button on the remote. But there is a difference between satellite and cable, so check first. I'm watching BBC Prime on the canal+ system at this very moment. In English.

First I'd better clarify. We have two seperate systems: 1. an HDTV nbox, which has Sky News and 2. Canal+ through satellite.
I never use the nbox system.
Canal+ has CNN, BBC World, France24, Euronews, Al Jazeera [english]. These are all English news channels.
Film channels: A couple of canal+ film channels, Hallmark, HBO, HBO2, HBO Comedy [sometimes this is only in Polish].
Other channels: BBC Prime [a chance to see all those programmes you missed last year] National Geographic, Discovery, MTV, Eurosport, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Zone Club, Zone Reality,

There are a few others. It depends on the package you opt for.
There are plenty of German, Italian, French and Arabic channels too.

It's very important that you check the package you opt for and make sure that they can give you these programmes in English.

When you get to Wroclaw. PM me and we'll talk about it over a pint.

You need to get a Sky decoder and card from the UK i.e. it needs to be registered at a UK address. Then any satellite technician can set it up for you. I get most Sky channels except for BBC & ITV here in Krakow.
