HUMOROUS POLISH TOASTS

THERE ARE MANY HUMOROUS TOASTS IN POLISH INCLUDING:

One I remember from my Wife's Cousin (god rest his soul):

To the Russian Submarinines: May they all go down!

These rhyme in Polish or involve some word-play, whilst in English they are meaningless otr fall flat. But here goes anyway:
--Splash it out in your silly snout.
-- Let's drink up or we'll all doze off.
-- To the health of the beautiful ladies and my wife...
-- Johann Sebastian BACH (bach means boom, bang or in this context "down the hatch")
-- To the four corners (of the room) and the stove as No. 5 (when the imbibers have run out of things to drink to)

Some more toasts:
1/ "Zdrowie wasze w gardla nasze!" (To your health down our throats!)
2/ "Zdrowie pieknych pan po raz pierwszy (piaty/dziesiaty)!" (To the health of the beautiful ladies for the first (fifth/tenth) time )
3/ "No, bo wodka stygnie!" (Hey, vodka is getting cold!)
4/ " Na druga noge!" (To the second leg!)
5/ "Za tych co w kosmosie" (To the ones in the space!)
6/ "No to po maluchu!" (One little one more!)
7/ "Zeby nam sie dzieci tramwajow nie czepialy" (the most absurd one - To our children so they don't cling on to the trams!)

The translations are not really funny, but some of the original toasts are! There are much much more, and new ones are being born nearly every day ;) .

I am going to have to learn these...they are great...!

Zdrowie mamy, bo jak mamy to pijemy. (it make sense only in polish)

This toast is humorous! But I'm not sure it's Polish.

Also: Za tych, co na morzu! (To those at sea).
Or (untraslatable): Żeby nam się dobrze działo, a że działo to armata, aby nam się armaciało!

You use this word one more time and I will scream... halloweenishly.

Nothing is untranslatable. There is just a variety in complexity and explanation required.
Now, someone translate my last (untranslateable) sentence into Polish please.

Polish Toast?

Hello can someone help me please.

I was told a Polish Drinking song/toat/saying but was too drunk (surprise Surprise) to rememeber it!

All I rememeber is the word Wodka!

It went Wodka Dee, Woka Darh Wodka Dee Dee Dee Dee Darh!

If you can held me with the Dee's and darh's i get free drinks!

Any soft haerted Drinker out there to help me?

Phonetic would be even better.

I like the wedding toast thing
"gorzka wódka, gorzka wódka
niebendziemy pili
tzeba aby para mloda
wódke oslodzili"
and the subsequent verses...
makes the 'tap the glass to see them kiss' thing look utterly dull... specially since at the wedding the bride DID go up on the table when that verse came about ^_^

otherone = the leaving drinks .... where you salute as you get up, as you walk out, at the door, at the gate and so on till 'stszeminenne' (stirrup... i know i butchered that spelling *shrug*) from back when you had to get on the horse. My uncle always says 'stszemienne' and drinks to say 'this is the last one, i don't wanna, but I gotta go' ^_^

Translation in order:

Every shot we drink is just one more nail in your casket; let's drink so the coffin may be solid.

Vodka is your enemy {so down the hatch} (lej ją w mordę - here we have a play on the phrase, it also means; let's beat her up) but you don't stand a chance, she will throw you against the wall and lay you down on the floor.

Come; drown your sorrows in the depths of the bottle.

Men is not a camel, he has to drink.

So, we can meet under the table.

(Let's drink; they don't buy back full bottles.)

czas życia krótki - kropnijmy wódki !

(Sun is shining, bird is singing, we should be drinking!)

Alkohol zabija powoli, ale nam się nigdzie nie spieszy !!
(Alcohol kills you slowly, but we're not in a hurry!!)

Jak to mawiają genetycy - Do DNA!
(How do the geneticist say it - (do DNA) [play on the word, "do DNA" in Polish is bottoms up.]

Napijmy się ! Lepiej być znanym pijakiem, niż anonimowym alkoholikiem !
(Let's drink! It's better to be a famous drunk, then to be an anonymous alcoholic!)
