Hello! Every one,

I am a film maker and, I plan to start a film school in Poland. My goal is to provide 1 month digital film studies, where one can learn how to make films, editing, working with the camera, lights and above all, the role of director, producer, business of films etc. Althogh I plan to target the international students, I shall however, have special offers for the Polish people. Any feedback & suggestions are welcome. Those who would like to partner along with me in this venture, are also welcome to get in touch.

Thank you
Cheers

Bobby

You might be a bit late. Huge film school in £ódź with branch campuses all over Poland, even in smaller towns lik Wodzisław. Maybe do your homework first.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply. But that does not mean, I should give up, right? They might be #1, I can always be 2 isn't? :) can you please give me the name of that film school, or the website address. I would appreciate that. Moreover, I must also say that, mine will be not like those traditional film schools with long 1 year study programs etc. I will focuse more on 4-6 week study programs and, I am focusing more on Digital Film making, which is a newer media and costs less that the 35mm or 16mm

Thank you

Thanks ukpolska. I appreciate your feedbacks

No. Trust me, it isn't. Not if you have to undergo a study course of 7 hrs a day, 5 days a week. At the end of the course, you will be able to make your film, edit it etc. The goal is to share the fundamentals of a year long course into a 1 month crash course. I shall provide the web link soon for more details.

True. We sometimes think of education as a two hour, once a week event lasting for about 4 months, but if you really think about it a whole semester is really 20 to 40 hours in class per subject

How much do you think, should be the fees structure for Polish students? I do not have an idea on that, since I have a different fees structure for international students, while I want to design a special package for the Polish students. Any suggestions on this will be welcome?

Thread attached on merging:
I plan to move to Poland and, start with my film school.

I am an advertising consultant and, I direct & produce advertising films. I visited Poland, for the first time, around May this year. It was one of my finest trips. I find Polish people are very friendly, well mannered, cultured and above all, very religious. I plan to move to Poland and, start with my film school.

Thanks to all those I met and spent my time with. God bless you all.
