Can I market instant oatmeal for diabetics in Poland?

I am working on a project at my U.S. university to launch a product line in Poland. I have read that oatmeal is an important part of the current breakfast tradition. Diabetes is unfortunately on the rise in Poland. I am hoping to launch Glucerna products made by Abbotts Ross Labs and specially formulated for those with Type 2 Diabetes control.

I am concerned whether Polish working adults would purchase a premium single-serving oatmeal package. In the U.S., these products are marketed through pharmacies and recommended by doctors to control blood sugar (glycemic levels). Convenient packaging and meals designed for busy lifestyles are very popular. Will this idea translate?

I appreciate your feedback.

oatmeal is not so very popular. so instant oatmeal won't catch up any time soon in general market
diabetics is a different story - if there is no such product in Polish market it may have a success.
it should then be approached the same way as in America. (doctors' recommendations, health periodics articles and adds, sold in pharmacies and the like)

Thank you. That is helpful. The line has other products, like shakes, meal replacement and snack bars. Would one of those offerings be more favorable?

each of these has its advantages so all of them can well be given a try at marketing

though I think some snack bars for diabetics are already marketed,

I don't think any warm meals are though

well what you need is some research on what is being marketed at the moment
