Hi All,
In my magical quest to learn Polish I came across a word mentioned on a language podcast which i cannot spell and therefore cannot use correctly (I like to know how the word is written as it helps me with pronunciation)
I'll set out the context:
So whilst learning about asking someone in Polish:
How are you? (Jak się masz? Co tam? etc etc)
I was given a list of standard answers that I would likely receive in Polish, Being that (apparently) Polish people are grumpier and like to whinge more than English people they would likely not say:
Very good thank you (Bardzo dobrze, Dziękuje)
However something along the lines of:
Nothing special (Nic specjalnego - Nb:I think/hope that is correct!)
Another word mentioned was (and I'm completely guessing at the spelling here): Fontanie - meaning really really awful.
Could somebody please help me out by giving me the definition and the correct spelling?
Thanks in advance gang.
:)
