Studying Intensive Polish in Summer 2010

I'm an English-speaking university student interested in learning basic Polish intensively next summer. At this point, I'm a complete beginner. I've visited Poland and really enjoyed Krakow -- but if there are other cities (especially university towns) that I might enjoy, please feel free to recommend them as well.

What might be a good university to attend for the summer to learn Polish?

Hi,

I was looking forward to learn polish too. But unfortunately I am not in Poland, but India. Are you aware of any good source for learning polish online or direct(on the spot, that would be very good). I have an inclination towards learning languages and linguistics in general. For German,Spanish and japenese etc there are universities here such as aliance francasie, instituto de hispania and the like. Are you aware of any such international programes. Any such information will be very helpful.

Looking forward to a reply,

Thanks and regards,
Keshav

Thanks for the suggestions -- those sound like great cities! (I've been to Gdansk and really enjoyed it.)

Is there a particular university in any of those towns you might recommend?

Don't miss visiting Wroclaw. Beautiful city, lots of young people and entertainment, great University of Wroclaw, not sure if they offer learning of polish language

Check it out.
