Pimsleur language learning system, is it any good?

I listened once to a Pimsleur lesson.
I thought it odd that "ą" and "ę" are pronounced as "a" and "e" respectively. Perhaps accented characters frighten the Americans...

Hi, so I have heard a lot of American bashing, but why? Isn't it an American company that produces the product that you have thus far enjoyed consuming? Sorry, but the arrogance and hypocrisy were too overwellming to ignore. I guess what I'm trying to say is "Don't be haters."

This product is still charging each month. I had to change my credit card
numbers to stop the monthly withdrawal by them of 59.95. The withdrawal
went on for 5 months. My only recourse was to change the credit card number
to stop them from charging me for a product that was returned to them.
It was not the product they promote.
