A great part of the polish jews origin were from Germany.There fore they had a special language;jiddish with lot of german inspired words...
OP YANTA 26 Dec 2006 / #14Treder is a polish/ kaszub name not jewish. A short search show this. Franciszek Treder organized the Kaszub museum in Kartuzy. It's also a fairly common name in the kaszuby reigon of poland.
