Is there anything Poles say to one another before, a driver's test?

Or something similar to "THIRD TIMES A CHARM"

and what would be appropriate if he's failed his test?

Thanks, Melissa

"Good luck" interpretation in Poland

Hi one question: if someone says powodzenia, meaning "Good luck", in Poland, does it mean they wish you good luck and don't ever want to see you again?

No, although that meaning can be conveyed by a cold or sarcastic tone of voice upon delivery. Otherwise, it is a sincere wish for your success.

'Powodzenia!', sometimes 'Sto lat!' may be used to wish luck, i.e. congratulate. Normaly, one hears either one or the other, depending on the context. 'Take it easy!' in the sense of 'Good luck, take care!' may be rendered 'Trzymaj siÄ™!' as well.
