They have the Spruce Goose on display

What about your plans on weekend Outintheyard?

I a m going to make some homemade pizza dough tonight for sunday. I have to put brakes on a tractor, split firewood and I also have remodeling projects in the house. Since it is just me and my son, I will probably take hime to a movie and dinner for one night.

I'm not sayiing your idea is invalid mate

I was just tossing it into the wind so to speak, maybe a better curriculum would be to show the students what ways some other successful countries do their studies and their views so that the students will have a better idea of what is out there in this global economy. Japan, poland all have different ideas on education and structure. The US has a tendency not to teach anything outside the box. And I am tired of it.

Mali you are now close to the top of my list in favorites on PF . Like you care! Anyway , maybe the career study class should be to take these kids and place them all over the world to see how other countries manage . Some kind of cultural exchange program for all student and not just select ones. That last year in highschoolcould become an education of a life time.

First of all I would like to thank Panienka for her insight into the system of polish schools. Second, I would like to say the US could learn some of this, but Tornado is right. What a confusing mess it seems to be in structure of polish schools. Hopefully it will reorganize over time. The 19 year old situation is an interesting argument. One might argue that this would bring about more maturity in the individual here in the US. So basically the US seems to lenient in the public sector and polish to confusing. Change in either will happen over time. It may take generations of thought o make either system better.

Too many parents want there children to become star athletes and make much money as celebrity athletes. When in reality one out of millions ever makes it. But heck, many play the lottery too and those odds are worse. Humans?

The Us is going towards this way too. KIds now compete through sports clubs outside of school because many school programs are managed so poorly by unqualified staff and biased caoches etc. Europe always seems to be more advanced than the USA

In the US we have a large emphasis on sports and less on the arts. What is it like in Poland? I build schools. Often when bidding the project 95 % of the money goes to sports facilities and the arts are only listed as an alternate if the money is there.

News / I love Poland because... (in 10 words or less) [182]

Tornado! You don't have to go to Europe to see a skirt in the summer. Anyone in the US is used to this . Perving is a dangerous word. It denotes unaceptable behavior. the reason to visit another country is to enjoy the personalities of the people and the culture. Are you suggesting men actuallly sit around and just stare at women in poland? Sounds very lonely to me.

What is so sad about shawns comment on Wyspi I think you took that comment of mine the wrong way Tornado? I was just whining about shawns comment jeeeze. I didnt' think it was sad. I think polish hotties in skirts is definitely good. only thing sad is I am not there to do some scientific observation.
