History / Did Ukraine really "steal" Polish land? [302]

s far as I know Lwow was a Polish city, on Polish soil until in @1945 when the Communists gave Lwow to the Ukranians, and Wilno to the Lithuanians. At this time Ukraine was in effect a state of USSR.

Yes but area around the Lwow was inhabitant most by the Ukrainians. And Ukraine was earlier (before 1945) state of USSR.

News / The Breakdown of the Polish Health System [14]

In Poland all litterally all is on the permanently edge of the breakdown. It's a polish little tribute to the chaos of the world :)

"W Polsce nic złego ani dobrego nie dzieje się do końca - "In Poland nothing (good or bad) can reach the end" (translating is very badly, maybe someone could do it right:)

Life / Cigarette Smoking in Poland [146]

I knew a guy who answered me once I asked him "Why do you do drugs?":

"I do drugs because I prefer to kill my brain rather than my liver".. ;]

drug - biological subtance, synthetic or non-synthetic, that is taken for non-dietary needs. It is usually synthesized outside of an organism, but introduced into an organism to produce its action. That is, when taken into the organisms body, it will produce some effects or alter some bodily functions (such as relieving symptoms, curing diseases or used as preventive in medicine.b I mean drug like those in the FDA not a fking coke, or opium & consortes.

Life / Cigarette Smoking in Poland [146]

No it's true : if smoker don't "leave the building" with cancer he's gonna much, much less chance to have a Parkinson's disease than nonsmoker. There is some sort of migraine that resist the ordinary drugs and can be beated only when u smoke a cig.

Life / Retire in Poland - Good or Bad Idea? [74]

You don't need to do it. Nike, Adidas, Puma for example are in very good shape thanks to child labor. Child labor looks not good in TV so factorias are in Far East and everbody's happy.

But that is not the subject. I'm sorry for of topic.

Life / Retire in Poland - Good or Bad Idea? [74]

think it's too expensive in Poland - for an American at least.

Sorry, but your dollar - your problem. Don't blame Poland and polish economy for turning the dolar into shit level. For a prise of huge economy crisis China can blow the american economy near into the stoneage level (U.S. goverment has debt in China big as the whole milky way galaxy)

Travel / Traveling to Poland: Tips for First-Timers [47]

Take a swim in the Baltic Sea, although water can be a bit cold, walk the beautiful white beaches

Well I did'nt saw any white beaches. And swiminig in the Baltic- well not anyone wanna try estreme sports :)

Except Warsaw, Krakow & Gdańsk you can go to Warmia & Mazusry region for exemple to Olsztyn (about 200 km from Warsaw direction north, from Gdansk direction east) woods and lakes inside the city area.

After all there is in Poland much to see beside Karkow, Warsaw, Gdansk (Poznan, Wroclaw,Rzeszow,Przemysl, Sandomierz, Elblag, Elk, Zamosc & more). We have even village with three hundred thousand inhabitants :)
