Travel / Wroclaw Train station to the Airport [15]

How long will this take, with all the construction that is going on. I had intended to take a bus but could take a taxi if that is better. Thank you.

Law / Under contract to teach and fraud, is there a fine to leave Poland? [35]

Just so you know in the future, never go to a country with the intention to work, unless you already have your visa (unless you are planning to work illegally, I suppose-- but that's another topic!) Your visa must be issued in your home country. You recieve an offer from a Polish company and they send you some documents. You go to the Polish consulate in the States and take the documents, as well as your passport and two passport sized photos and a filled out visa form. You leave these, and in about a week you'll get your passport back with a working visa in it. Then you are free to go and work for as long as your visa is. I also really think you'd have be totally fine just flying out of the country, but I guess now that you have contacted the authorities you have to follow through with it.

I also see no problems with you leaving at the airport. If you are really concerned about it, I suppose you could always take a train or bus out of Poland and fly to the States from Germany or such. I know plenty of people who have been in europe longer than 3 months without visas and have just said that they are taking a gap year or something like that. I've never heard of any problems. Again, I think if you are obviously leaving, there shouldn't be an issue.

Law / Noise regulations in Poland [3]

Are there any noise regulations in Poland? Or is it just accepted that people will play loud music from 18:00 Saturday night until Sunday morning? Before I complain I am wondering if there are any rules to back me up.....

Work / Independent English teacher in Poland [4]

I am living and working in Poland and already have the correct visas to live and work through the company that hired me. However, I am hoping to also teach English independently (not through a school, just doing private lessons). As I don't speak Polish very well, I would only be able to work with those who had a basic command of the language and then work on grammar and vocabulary. Is it appropriate to simply post an advertisement around universities and high schools and such? Or are there typically rules prohibiting such things? I am also very interested in getting into proof- reading documents, both for corporations and private individuals. I'd be very grateful if anyone could recommend a way to get into this. Thank you for your help.
