Love / Advice from the guys? English met a Polish guy. [40]

Well we met for coffee and decided we're going to try to be friends, which I'm happier with as I'm not ready to get involved with someone.

Our only concern is the fact we have a mutual physical attraction, but at the end of the day we're both adults so I'm hoping we'll be able to overcome that and develop a lasting friendship. So no big romance but i feel I'll have a better end result, :-)

Genealogy / Przybylski, Szarek from Tracing Konopnica, Zimna Woda, Lwow district - my grandfathers family [4]

Hi, I'm just starting to research my grandfather and his family and I am stuck already.

I've got a town for where he was born but I am getting conflicting information when I enter the name into any search engines.

All I have is the information from his marriage certificate to my grandmother.
The village name is Konopnica, ZimnWoda, and the district of LWOW. (This is from a British marriage certificate)
Can anyone help with whereabouts this could be, or what i could enter into a search engine? or if it is even in Poland anymore? as I know it has changed alot.

(The only place I got was near a town called Skulsk, but it just showed an empty space, no name of a village, on multi map)

Love / Advice from the guys? English met a Polish guy. [40]

Well I rang him tonight, as my gut instinct was telling me it felt right. He answered and sounded pleased to hear from me.

I havent killed him off with my cake, or his family and friends that he gave it to, :-)

We had a bit of a miscommunication in our conversation, my fault (my phone is rubbish so I couldnt hear him properly), but then we figured out what we'd misunderstood. I asked him about meeting for a coffee on sunday and i think we are, :-)

Thank you to all you guys for the extra push i'd maybe not have taken, :-)

Love / Advice from the guys? English met a Polish guy. [40]

I'm going to call him Friday and see if he'd like to meet for a drink Sunday, but coffee this time, ;-)
I want to wait as I have a rotten cold and don't imagine that would sound very nice on the phone, :-(

the less alchohol the better, ur mind will be free of stuff, u will be natural and u... a free and simple person

Well I'm lucky as I'm the same person, drunk, merry or sober, just ask my friends. Although this has entertained them all, alot, they are not letting me forget it easily, :-)

I'm just a little too polite for my own good? but I have to say it was a great evening, both the company and the drink :-).

although I do admit that if a girl gets p*ssed like that on the first date...

So not so bad on a 2nd date, :-)

I would say I wasn't p****ed, as i remember everything, just merry, alot merry.

I have to say, my date did admit to me he was a little drunk while we were still in the bar and nearly walked into a pillar as we left. I didn't laugh though (ok maybe a little) as it could have so easily been me, :-)
