UK, Ireland / Primary school in Glasgow (question to Polish parents) [6]

It's pretty hard to say, as previously said, it depends on which part of the center, as each school is allocated certain area's. Check the Glasgow city council website, you will find which school is nearest where you live.

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

Parents should not be forced into having such conversations with their young children only because some gay agenda advocates have decided for everyone that young kids need to be exposed to this.

Why not, its a part of life like other parts, should children not learn about smoking and drinking at school? both those things destroy alot more than a gay relationship.

It is wrong and schools are not the place for it. Everyone should contact their children’s school administrator and voice their displeasure.

For what reason? Because you feel it isnt right, but u forget that in the UK religion is frowned upon, should every parent tell their school not to teach it?

Food / Menu suggestions for a Polish/Scottish night. [89]

This is why i don't like gołąbki idea, it may be a little too much Haggis for one sitting, unless of course you made mini versions:) That i think sounds a good idea:)

Food / Menu suggestions for a Polish/Scottish night. [89]

Hopefull we'll aim for that. I am really liking these ideas of mixing things up like haggis golabki although I take on board the negative sides of that, and haggis pierogi.

I think the problem is that Haggis and Cabbage just don't go together that well. I made some peirogi with haggis and chedder cheese, and it was nice.

You need to accompany the haggis with something that will take the spice away, or give it an extra depth of flavour.

Life / Healthcare In Poland For An EU Citizen [10]

It depends, if you are a UK citizen, the health care is free. I'm not sure about other countries. But im guessing if your paying taxes then you should be entitled to healthcare here.

Life / Polish Residency - Zameldowanie to be abolished? [49]

Passports can be stolen and reproduced.

Its a little harder with ID cards. And really i dont know if i want my details spread about in government offices for twits to "lose" them on a CD.

Though i'd agree if you done nothing wrong, why argue against ID cards.

News / "We buy out Poland, Hungary, and Romania!" - the President of Israel [74]

Buy who out, Poland will always belong to the Polish people. Like Seanus said, it will create jobs for local workers, boost economy, and bring in more investment into the area.

So what's the problem, are you telling me i can't buy land in this country and do what the hell i like with it?

News / Poland..wake up to a multicultural world [1059]

There is no clear difference between a slum and a poverty stricken area.

So praga in warsaw is a slum and a poverty stricken area.

i am beginning to think you're a bit stupid...

Blacks have been underprivileged around the world..ever since they were taken as slaves. Africa has been ripped off its wealth..its oil, its gold and diamonds by almost every western country and its still been ripped. Do U expect them not to be desperate? I could explain in details if u insist.

You could argue that Africa has fallen apart since the "so called slave drivers" left. Zimbabwe?

News / Poland..wake up to a multicultural world [1059]

Um, i think you will find that Glasgow has the biggest unemployment rate in the EU.

Does anyone know the difference between poverty stricken area, and slum??

News / "We buy out Poland, Hungary, and Romania!" - the President of Israel [74]

I really don't get this thread. Seems odd to me. Countries go out of their way to get foreign investment, it's part of building a stable economy. Look at the Irish investment in Krakow, it's a huge market, but now because Jews are involved, it seems to be a "problem".

Feedback / My Thoughts on this Forum and Moderators [71]

I agree that the forums is too moderated. As much as i don't like Noimmi, i think it was a step in the wrong direction to ban him. Free speech is something that we all want, but it seems that what we want, cant always be tolerated. Cmon, take the rough with the smooth.
