Love / is he married or not? [41]

"going out with mates" doesn't always mean what it seems to be on the surface.

Life / Surviving the Polish Winter [27]

learn about layering. find synthetic fabrics or go with wool. look into good windbreaker.. poland winter isn't all that tough. canada or skandi winters can be worse. i camp all year round and hardly ever get cold.. i was a tad on the cool side when i camped at -30F.. otherwise it's no biggie.

check this out:

Food / wiejska sausage - do you cook it / peel it? [22]

Hey, you can grill anything that's grillable!!!

and you can deep fry things that aren't even edible.. deep fried twinkies for instance. lol

btw. all sausage can be cooked again although i don't think i have ever seen krakowska or the like heated.

the white sausage has to be cooked though. it is raw at the store. personally i love it in white borscht.

besides that all others can be eaten as they are.. even kiszka.

Pasieka Bakery is good

great pastries and the bread is killer but no hard kajzerkis

The best Pierogis in the city are at Alexandras!!!

i like the ones from Pierogi Factory although they aren't the best.. will have to try alexandras next time i'm in the area. thanks
